Rethink Camouflage
The collection is inspired by the cultural spheres from Vorarlberg to Berlin:
On the one hand the relaxed village life in the mountains and on the other the fast-paced city. One stereotype that occurs in both places is the clothing style of people of an advanced age. These people usually wear ‚comfortable‘ and ‚functional‘ basics, such as shirts, cardigans, coats, joggers, scarves and slouchy hats. As these garments are not very functional in our opinions, we have dedicated ourselves to these basics and redesigned them. The results are hybrid shapes which are functional and transformative.
To emphasise the concept, we work in collaboration with various artists and also use existing items.

„Should we rethink camouflage?“
In the wake of the global war situations and the Ukraine war in Europe, we asked ourselfs this question. That‘s why we choose a vintage camouflage hoodie and embroidered it with the question. For the new silhouette, the hoodie is connected to a vintage sports cap by a spiral zipper. Furthermore, the shoulders are reinforced, thus creating a strong anonymous silhouette. Reversible zippers on the armholes and two spiral zippers from the head to the hips, make the silhouette transformable. The hoodie is lined with viscose, while the color of the lining comes from the Ukraine flag.
Overall, the hoodie is made of 84%cotton and 16%polyester. The lining is a pure viscose fabric (100%). In addition, we used 4 reversible zippers and a snap.
6900haus is a progressive and collective commune specialising in textile clothing and hybrid products.
The commune shares its rooms and wardrobe for a new cohabitation of ages, cultures & preferences. We celebrate life and work on solutions for the future of the culture we love. Sometimes we party, but more often we love nature. Sometimes we are at home, but more often we are on the streets & letting the rush of life inspire us. Sometimes we think about tomorrow, but more often we just live now.
6900haus is a project for the public in the form of products that we want to represent and share according to our values.
